Sproul, is pleased to announce the release of the Reformation Study Bible in Spanish, published in partnership with Poiema Publicaciones. This long-anticipated resource, La Biblia de Estudio de La Reforma, is now available in a variety of cover styles on Ligonier’s website and Amazon.
Today, more than 400 million people around the world speak Spanish, and access to trustworthy biblical teaching is a relative rarity. Much of the Spanish-speaking world is steeped in Roman Catholicism, and the charismatic movement has made significant inroads over the last generation. The fruit of the Reformation has never taken root in many of these regions–until recently.

In addition to 1.1 million words of verse-by-verse and topical explanations in Spanish, translated commentary from 75 distinguished theologians, and 70 translated theological notes from Dr. Sproul, the Spanish edition of the Reformation Study Bible also includes historical creeds, confessions, and catechisms that have been newly translated into Spanish from the original languages. The Scripture text utilized in the study Bible is La Biblia de las Américas (LBLA), a translation from the Lockman Foundation, the publisher of the New American Standard Bible.
