Industry veteran to help expand Maple Press’s presence in the Christian publishing market
YORK, PA — October 27, 2026 — Maple Press has announced that Pete Larson will join the company as a Sales Representative, effective November 2, 2026. Larson brings 29 years of experience in the book manufacturing industry, along with longstanding relationships with publishers and a deep understanding of the unique needs of the Christian publishing market.
In his new role, Larson will focus on developing customer relationships and transitioning existing publishing accounts to Maple Press. Working from his home office in Minnesota, he will serve customers throughout the industry and collaborate with the Maple Press team to develop new business opportunities.
Larson most recently served as President and CEO of Bethany Press International, where he spent 29 years building the business and serving publishers. During his tenure, he helped guide the company through significant changes in book manufacturing, including the adoption of advanced digital printing technology and the integration of digital printing with traditional offset production.
His experience spans customer relationships, production capabilities, and the evolving demands of book publishers. His industry knowledge and established relationships are expected to help Maple Press strengthen its connections with Christian publishers and pursue new opportunities in the market.
“I’m excited about this next chapter and the opportunity to work with the team at Maple Press,” said Larson. “Throughout my career, I’ve been privileged to build relationships with publishers who share a passion for producing books that inform, inspire, and make a difference in people’s lives. I look forward to continuing those relationships and introducing more publishers to the capabilities and service Maple Press offers.”
Andrew Van Sprang, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Maple Press, welcomed Larson to the organization. “Pete brings tremendous experience in book manufacturing and an extensive network of relationships within the publishing
industry. His knowledge of the publishing market and his commitment to serving customers will be valuable assets as we continue to grow our business. We’re thrilled to welcome him to Maple Press.”
