Media schedule for Dr. Kevin Leman’s new book, ‘Education a la Carte’

Combining his parenting and longtime educational expertise, Dr. Kevin Leman offers help to parents in understanding their options as they wade through the confusing waters of today’s school choices in his new book, Education a la Carte (Revell).  Education isn’t a one-size fits all.  He lays out the different options and explains the pros and cons of each choice and how each individual child, including siblings, may thrive in a different educational setting.  Because the type of schooling pursued for a child is one of the most critical decisions a parent will make, understanding those choices and identifying your child’s unique skills and interests will be crucial to achieving a quality education.

Using his trademark humor and commonsense psychology, Dr. Leman will introduce parents to a menu of options to consider in making an informed decision.  He will help parents:

  • learn how to capitalize on their child’s strengths, weaknesses, natural talents, and curiosity
  • wade through the myriad education options – pros and cons

  • Focus on the Family – Recorded 30 minute interview on Tuesday, December 12 with air date in January.  (A second 30 minute interview focusing on The Birth Order Book will recorded with air date in March.)  A Facebook Live will happen following the recording of the two interviews.
