Grand Rapids, MI—The public is invited to a special evening filled with top fiction writers, book signings, selfie opportunities, and giveaways. Selfies & Signings takes place at 7 pm, Friday, August 9, at Baker Book House, 2768 East Paris Ave SE, Grand Rapids.
The 14 authors will meet readers and sign books from 7-9 pm, with the store offering deep discounts on many of the authors’ titles. The event is free, with guests able to take selfies with their favorite writers.
Authors attending are Karen Barnett, Amanda Barratt, Elizabeth Byler Younts, Lynette Eason, Valerie Fraser Luesse, Ann Gabhart, Ronie Kendig, Julie Klassen, Sharlene MacLaren, Katherine Reay, Cynthia Ruchti, Jill Eileen Smith, Catherine West, and Kimberley Woodhouse.
“We’re excited to host this many top Christian fiction authors in our store at one time,” said store manager Sue Smith. “This is a great opportunity for the public to meet these authors, as well as receive great pricing on many fiction titles. It’s one of our premier fiction events of the year.”
The authors are in town for the second annual Fiction Readers Summit, held at DoubleTree Hilton of Grand Rapids and Baker Book House. The Fiction Readers Summit allows attendees to meet their favorite authors, ask them questions, and discover new authors. Just as important, authors get to meet their readers face-to-face. Selfies & Signings is the only FRS event open to the public.
