CAROL STREAM, IL, August 17, 2026 — Tyndale House Publishers is celebrating multiple honors from the Association of Logos Bookstores, including The Missing Messiah: The Jesus We Can No Longer Ignore (Tyndale Elevate, March 2026) by Kyle Idleman and Mark E. Moore, which was named Christian Living Book of the Year at the 2026 Logos Annual Conference.
The awards were presented August 2–4 in St. Charles, Missouri, prior to the Christian Products Expo (CPE). Each year, the Association of Logos Bookstores recognizes outstanding vendors, authors, and books across nine categories, as well as sales representatives for their service to independent Christian retailers.
“Kyle Idlemann and Mark Moore have provided a thoughtful approach to who Jesus, our Messiah, is in Scripture and how he meets us every day,” said Julie Vander Ark, VP of Sales. “Tyndale is honored to publish The Missing Messiah, and it’s earning the Logos Christian Living Book of the Year is well deserved—and as always, we highly value our partnership with Logos Bookstores.”
The Missing Messiah challenges readers to reconsider whether the Jesus they have come to know is the Jesus revealed in Scripture. Pastors and bestselling authors Idleman and Moore argue that in an age of personalization and cultural division, Christians can unintentionally shape Jesus into someone who simply affirms their desires, eases their struggles, or fits their worldview. The authors invite readers to move beyond a transactional faith and rediscover Jesus not simply as Savior but as Messiah and King, calling them to a life of devotion, obedience, and daily discipleship.
In addition to the recognition for The Missing Messiah, three members of Tyndale House’s sales team—Mike Bachmann, Mike Petersen, and Mitch Ady—were honored by the Association of Logos Bookstores for their outstanding service, product knowledge, and professionalism.
“Our territory managers are honored and thrilled by this recognition from the Logos Stores,” said Cheryl Kerwin, Sales Operations Director. “This award shows each sales representative how much they’re appreciated by this group of retailers, not only for their product knowledge and professionalism, but also for the relationships they build as trusted consultants, partners, and encouragers.”
The honors reflect Tyndale’s longstanding partnership with independent Christian retailers and the important role booksellers and sales representatives play in connecting readers with books and resources that meet their needs.
The Association of Logos Bookstores is a member-owned, nonprofit trade association of independent Christian booksellers with locations throughout the United States and in the Bahamas. The 52-year-old organization is headquartered in Kent, Ohio.
