In March, a trio of new products will be added to the publisher’s beloved A Child’s First Bible line.
Carol Stream, Ill. (January 18, 2022) — On March 8, Tyndale House Publishers (@tyndalehouse) will release A Child’s First Bedtime Prayers: 25 Heart-to-Heart Talks with Jesus, written by Dandi Daley Mackall and illustrated by Cee Biscoe. Two illustrated board books, Sleepyhead Prayer and Thanks for Little Things, which contain related content, will release alongside the hardcover prayer book. The three products are the latest additions to Tyndale’s A Child’s First Bible line.
Written in winsome rhyming stanzas with language accessible for children ages three to five, these books encourage children to draw closer to Jesus as they talk and listen during prayer time. Each of the 25 prayer conversations in A Child’s First Bedtime Prayers focuses on a different topic. These conversations include prayers for children to pray, along with answers from Jesus, which are rooted in Scripture and are full of encouragement, comfort, and age-appropriate teaching. Sleepyhead Prayer reminds children that Jesus is always with them—both when they go to bed and when they wake up. Thanks for Little Things leads children into a prayer of thankfulness for wonderfully ordinary things.
