Carol Stream, IL (October 3, 2024)—Tyndale House Publishers (@tyndalehouse) will release Sweeter than Honey: A Bible Study on Enjoying God in His Word by Gretchen Saffles and Maggie Combs on January 7. This seven-session Bible study is designed to teach women the value of God’s Word as they develop tools to understand Scripture before they apply it to their lives.
Sweeter than Honey centers around three principles that readers can apply each time they open God’s Word: gather knowledge, digest the big ideas, and grow in godliness. As participants develop these principles, they’ll experience the challenging but transformative work of building a deeper relationship with God through the pages of his Word.
“We could not be more excited to be partnering with the Well-Watered Women ministry, long known for its theologically rich and beautifully created resources, on their first-ever Bible study sold to the trade,” says Kara Leonino, acquisitions manager, Tyndale House Publishers. “Coauthors Gretchen Saffles and Maggie Combs shine, both on the page and in the companion video teaching series (also a first for them!), with their love for God’s Word and their heart for helping women learn to study and understand Scripture in transformational ways.”
Sweeter than Honey will be available everywhere books are sold; the accompanying video teaching sessions featuring the authors will be available for streaming purchase through Tyndale.
