Nashville, TN – February 4, 2025– W Publishing Group, an imprint of Thomas Nelson, announced John Andrade has joined the team as senior marketing director, Katherine Hudencial has been promoted to marketing director, and Amanda Woods has joined as publicity director.
Andrade has more than 20 years of experience in the marketing and entertainment industries. He has worked at HarperCollins Christian Publishing for the last eight years, where he most recently led successful marketing campaigns for New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Publishers Weekly bestselling book The Garden Within by Dr. Anita Philips, USA Today and Evangelical Christian Publishing Association bestselling book A Mission Without Borders by Chad Robichaux, and ECPA bestselling book Catching Whimsy by Bob Goff. Andrade served as senior marketing director for titles from authors including John Mark Comer, Jefferson Bethke, Jason Wilson, and Tyler Staton. As senior marketing director for W Publishing, Andrade will have the senior level marketers reporting to him. He will also manage relationships with sales, agents, author teams, and internal stakeholders while leading campaigns for key titles and assisting in developing the overall marketing vision and strategy for W Publishing.
Hudencial has worked at HarperCollins Christian Publishing for nine years, and has been a driving force behind the success of New York Times, USA Today, Publishers Weekly, and ECPA bestselling books including Woman Evolve and Power Moves by Sarah Jakes Roberts, USA Today and ECPA bestselling books including Lemons on Friday by Mattie Jackson Smith, and ECPA bestselling books including You Are More than You’ve Been Told by Hosanna Wong, Jesus Over Everything by Lisa Whittle, The God Who Stays by Matthew West, and The Marriage Devotional by Levi and Jennie Lusko. As marketing director, she will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns for prominent frontlist and backlist titles and be involved in developing and executing the overall audiobook marketing strategy.
Amanda Woods has worked in Christian publishing for eight years, crafting and executing successful publicity strategies and campaigns for bestselling books and authors. As publicity director for W Publishing, Woods will lead publicity campaigns for key titles and emerging voices as well as develop and implement a backlist publicity strategy for the imprint.
