COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., December 8, 2025— WaterBrook, an imprint of PRH Christian, is celebrating the remarkable success of Everything Is Never Enough: Ecclesiastes’ Surprising Path to Resilient Happiness by Bobby Jamieson (WaterBrook), which has been recently honored with two major awards for 2025: Christianity Today’s Book Award winner in the Bible and Devotional category and The Gospel Coalition’s Book Award winner in Popular Theology.
In granting the book top honors in its Bible and Devotional category, Christianity Today praised Jamieson’s approach, writing: “Everything Is Never Enough engages with Ecclesiastes through an honest, personal style, incorporating scholarship while remaining accessible. This is a very rich book indeed.” The recognition reflects Jamieson’s ability to combine theological depth, pastoral insight, and narrative clarity in a way that appeals to a broad readership.
The Gospel Coalition similarly commended the book as its 2025 Popular Theology winner, noting: “With vivid imagery (think: life as a snow day), searching insight, and elegant prose, Jamieson offers brilliant medicine for our cultural moment.”
Released in April 2025, Everything Is Never Enough offers a fresh and compelling exploration of the Book of Ecclesiastes, reframing its ancient wisdom for readers grappling with ambition, exhaustion, and the search for meaning. Jamieson guides readers through Ecclesiastes’ stark honesty about the limits of worldly satisfaction while inviting them toward a resilient joy rooted in the gospel. Edited by Drew Dixon, the book’s critical reception reflects its intellectual rigor, accessibility, and editorial excellence.
Bobby Jamieson serves as senior pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He holds degrees from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a PhD in New Testament from the University of Cambridge.
