WaterBrook, an imprint of Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group, has acquired three titles from Alabaster Co.—the innovative publisher known for integrating visual imagery and thoughtful design into Scripture—in a groundbreaking partnership that expands Alabaster’s acclaimed aesthetic approach to new readers.
The new line, The Bible Beautiful with Alabaster, launches with The Gospels Collection, featuring the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John paired with stunning photography, offering a beautiful Bible experience in a fresh format. Two Bible studies will follow, beginning with a study on the book of Genesis.
The partnership brings Alabaster’s vision—for all of humanity to experience God as beautiful—to a broader audience through thoughtfully designed products that integrate beauty into every aspect of faith.
The Gospels Collection is scheduled for publication in Summer 2027. World rights to all three titles were acquired by Executive Editor Drew Dixon from Maria Ribas at Stonesong, in partnership with Alabaster Co. leaders Samuel Han and Brian Chung.
Alabaster Co. started in 2016 with the Bible, integrating visual imagery and thoughtful design into books of the Bible and with the mission to bring forth beauty in the world. Its stunning and highly designed Bibles, Bible studies, and books have been featured in such media outlets as Fox News, Vanity Fair, Washington Post, New Yorker and Christianity Today, receiving such praise as “each book is its own work of art.”
WaterBrook is an imprint of PRH Christian, a division of Penguin Random House, LLC.
