WaterBrook wins two-book deal with Marcus Stanley

SEPTEMBER 5, 2025–Marcus Stanley, inspirational internet prayer advocate who reaches over 100 million people each month, will release PRAYING LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT, sharing his experiences of suffering and trauma after being shot eight times and pointing readers to healing, connection, and the redemptive love of God for publication in 2027, and an untitled 365-day prayer book in 2028.

Deal confirmed to Susan Tjaden at WaterBrook, at auction, in a two-book deal, by Trinity McFadden at The Bindery (world).

WaterBrook is an imprint of Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group, a division of Penguin Random House, LLC.
