WaterBrook’s Ink & Willow to publish Tracey Michae’l Lewis-Giggett’s “Black Joy Playbook”

Winner of the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work – Instructional and author of Black Joy: Stories of Resistance, Resilience, and Restoration, Tracey Michae’l Lewis-Giggetts’s Black Joy Playbook shows Black readers how to find and create joy in their present-day lives.

In a beautifully designed and thoughtful guide with creative prompts and space for reflection questions, Lewis-Giggetts helps readers mine their memories to find out what joy looks and feels like to them—and then reveals how to outline a strategy to experience that joy in their present-day life.

The book is scheduled for publication in Fall 2024.
