Submission period for The Christy Award® program to open on March 1st
Christy Award submissions are open to works of fiction written from a Christian worldview, published traditionally or independently from March 2021 to March 2022. Nominations will be accepted March 1-31 in nine fiction categories. In addition, qualified nominees submitted for Christy Award consideration, can also choose to be evaluated for The Amplify Award.

ECPA Leadership Summit to be conducted at two locations; day two at American Bible Society headquarters
Industry leaders will gather in-person this spring in Philadelphia on May 3-4 for the ECPA Leadership Summit at the waterfront Hilton Philadelphia Penn’s Landing. The first day will feature sessions with Cherie Harder, Dr. Theon Hill, Eugene Habecker, and Kristen McLean – along with publisher case studies, an expert panel on the supply chain, and concluding with the ECPA Awards Celebration with Latasha Morrison.
On day two, attendees will meet at the nearby headquarters of the American Bible Society for sessions with Dr. Nicole Martin, Stan Jantz, and Paul David Tripp. The ECPA annual member meeting and optional tours of ABS’ new Faith & Liberty Discovery Center will convene the event.
All industry managers from ECPA companies are invited to this premier networking event.

Katelyn Beaty has been named Editorial Director of Brazos Press. Beaty has served as acquisitions editor at Brazos Press since fall 2018. She is a writer, journalist, editor, and keen observer of trends in the American church. She also cohosts the Saved by the City podcast (Religion News Service).

Peterson has worked with authors such as poet and artist Morgan Harper Nichols; actor and stand-up comedian Kel Mitchell; Good Morning America co-anchor and ABC News correspondent Eva Pilgrim; and country music singer and songwriter Lauren Alaina. As senior acquisitions editor, Peterson will acquire authors for both Thomas Nelson Gift and Zondervan Gift.
