Read More...Professors Theon Hill and Randy Smith added to PubU Editorial program: Sessions will discuss achieving diversity in publishing and making safe spaces for diverse voices
Two sessions have been added to the Editorial program at PubU with diversity as its theme. RANDY SMITH, founder and director of the BFA program in Creative Writing at Belhaven University – the program that produced The Hate U Give author Angie Thomas – will open the PubU editorial track on November 6 by presenting, “Making Safe Spaces for Diverse Voices: Another Legacy of The Hate U Give.” Then on November 7, Wheaton College professor THEON HILL, Ph.D. will open Wednesday’s sessions with “Building Bridges: Achieving Diversity in Book Publishing.” Other speakers in PubU’s editorial program, curated by Melinda Bouma (publisher, Zondervan Bibles), include industry experts AMI MCCONNELL, BOB DEMOSS, DARRON SCHROEDER, KLAUS KROGH, and ROB EAGAR.
