ECPA names industry leaders developing 2022 PubU program, held Nov. 16-17 in Nashville

ECPA’s annual Fall training program – ECPA PubU – will return as an in-person event in 2022 after being presented online for the past two years. PubU will be held on November 16-17 at Lipscomb University in Nashville. Developing the program will be a group of industry leaders – called the ECPA PubU Brain Trust, led by Jamie Lapeyrolerie, editor at WaterBrook & Multnomah. ECPA PubU will feature sessions in four tracks — Editorial, Marketing, Design, Production & Ops — plus feature the second annual Children’s Book Summit.

ECPA has posted the Christian bestseller lists for June at ReadGoodBooks.com, based on sales data from NPD Bookscan.  The #1 bestselling book for the month is Revealing Revelation by Amir Tsarfati (Harvest House), which is also #1 on the Non-Fiction list.

Burn survivor, AGT finalist, and Baker author Kechi Okwuchi on Jesus Calling Podcast

At 16, Kechi Okwuchi was one of two survivors of a plane crash that claimed the lives of 59 of her classmates and friends. She recently joined the Jesus Calling Podcast to share how her will to survive, and her subsequent journey toward becoming a finalist on America’s Got Talent as well as becoming an advocate for burn survivors and for victims of bullying was driven by the desire to do something meaningful with her life in honor of her friends and the families they left behind. Okwuchi’s book, “More Than My Scars,” is available from Baker Books.
