November’s Christian bestseller lists posted today
ECPA has released the monthly Christian bestseller lists for November 2022 in 15 categories, including Spanish, based on sales data from NPD Bookscan. The #1 bestselling title is “The World Of The End” by Dr. David Jeremiah (Thomas Nelson). The #1 bestselling new release is “The God of the Way” by Kathie Lee Gifford and Rabbi Jason Sobel (Thomas Nelson). They are listed at ReadGoodBooks.com.

Next week: ECPA PubU to gather industry in Nashville for several programs
More than 200 Christian publishing professionals will gather next week at Lipscomb University in Nashville around several programs aimed to train and connect the industry, which include: 35+ sessions offered in publishing disciplines that span marketing, editorial, design, production & operations, children’s books, market data, and faith-based fiction & writing. Additionally, the ECPA PubU opening session will honor the 10-year anniversary of the industry’s book cover design award program – with the announcement of this year’s winners. Kicking off the program will be a keynote from Dr. Christina Barland Edmondson on “Conveying Truth & Love through your work as a Christian publishing professional.” Ending the two days of programming is The Christy Award Gala, announcing the 2022 winners.

Thomas Nelson announces first translation-based study Bible: The NET Study Bible
Thomas Nelson, a division of HarperCollins Christian Publishing, in partnership with Bible.org/Biblical Studies Press announces The NET Study Bible, the first translation-based study Bible created for the New English Translation (NET). Slated for release in 2027, David Dockery, PhD, Interim President, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, will helm the project as general editor. It will contain more than 750,000 words of in-depth study material.

Tyndale to release new children's books by Dandi Daley Mackall; plus new middle grade fiction by Jonathan Starrett slated for film
Tyndale House Publishers will release three new children’s books by Dandi Daley Mackall in spring of 2023. A board book, “Bedtime in the Barnyard,” and a chapter book, “Lucky for Winnie,” will both release on March 7, 2023. “Homesick Horse,” another chapter book, will release on April 4, 2023. Tyndale is also releasing “The Architect,” a middle grade fiction book, slated for film production, by Jonathan Starrett on February 7, 2023.

Dr. Elizabeth Stevens appears on Jesus Calling Podcast
