CHICAGO, IL—Independent Publishers Group (IPG) is excited to announce that their gift books will now be available through Faire.com, a recently launched online wholesale marketplace that exclusively offers products from independent brands to gift retailers. Faire’s online platform allows these retailers to shop for merchandise from a variety of vendors in the comfort of their own store or home.
Faire was founded in 2017 and currently has 250,000 retail customers across 15,000 cities. Faire sets out to simplify the wholesale buying process and bring independent brands to retailers – leveling the playing field for small businesses everywhere. IPG is considered an independent brand on Faire.com, giving publishers in the IPG list access to this exclusive marketplace.
“IPG is excited to partner with Faire.com to expand its sales reach deeper into the gift market,” said Michael Riley, vice president of sales at IPG. “Utilizing Faire’s rapidly growing platform, we’re able to reach a wider array of gift retailers that value and support independent brands.” Larger publishing houses are not able to participate directly through Faire’s independent brand marketplace, making this a fantastic opportunity for IPG publishers.
IPG’s partnership with Faire will work in conjunction with their existing gift program and reps, bringing in the most possible business for IPG publishers.
About IPG:
In June of 2021, Independent Publishers Group (IPG, www.ipgbook.com) celebrated its 50th anniversary. As the original North American distributor, IPG was founded specifically to represent titles from independent publishers to the book trade. Today IPG remains committed to reimagining distribution and has grown to provide its publishers with services ranging from pre-publication consultation, global sales, marketing & publicity, supply chain, print and digital distribution, data and reporting, to print brokerage. With consistent growth year over year, IPG’s success has come from giving publishers broader reach into more markets, including general trade, academic, children’s, Spanish and special markets.
