Greg Clarke to step down as head of Bible Society Australia
After nine years at the helm of Australia’s oldest continuous organization, Dr. Greg Clarke announced he will be stepping down from his position as CEO of Bible Society Australia. Clarke told staff and supporters that he felt like his role at BSA was one he had “prepared for my whole life.”

“Beyond Borders” was the theme of ECPA’s Leadership Summit conference, held April 30 and May 1 in Chicago. Twenty-seven presenters and panelists covered such topics as: the global opportunity in publishing, the growth of audio books and podcasting, the new realities of Christian book retail, and the need for publishers to support under-represented minorities.
Publishing in Color conference held next month in New Jersey
Co-sponsored by Writing for your Life and involving several ECPA publishers, the upcoming Publishing in Color conference will be held June 13-14 at the Drew University Theological School in Madison, New Jersey. Keynote speakers are Sophfronia Scott, Rodrigo Colon, Kathy Khang, and Karen Valentin. Publishing in Color conferences foster relationships between writers from under-represented groups and representatives from the spiritual publishing industry.
