Attendees of ECPA PubU will have the unique advantage of receiving up to the minute data reports in two recorded presentations from NPD data experts Brooke Borneman and Brenna Conner. Brenna will report on the Children’s book market and Brooke will give an overview of 2022’s consumer book buying trends and data insights—with a special focus on the Christian book market. The ECPA board of directors recently welcomed Jonlin Creative as an ECPA industry affiliate. Jonlin Creative provides book design services, specializing in non-fiction titles, and working with both authors and publishers.

ECPA names 30 finalists for The Christy Award® in nine fiction categories
ECPA announced 30 finalists for The Christy Award. Three finalists were named in nine categories, except for three ties in the Historical, Historical Romance and Speculative categories. The Christy Award® exists to celebrate excellence in the art of Christian fiction and to honor the power of faith in story. Winners will be announced on November 17 at The Christy Award Gala. (Tickets are still available.)
Lexham Press’ second FatCat title in children’s series wins Moonbeam Award
FatCat, the friendly feline, has grown in stature as “The Lord’s Prayer: For All God’s Children” has won the 2022 Gold Moonbeam Children’s Book Award in the religion category.
