The Acquisition Builds PRH Christian’s Direct-to-Consumer Platform and Underscores Its Investment in Bible Resources
Colorado Springs, CO (April 13, 2026)—Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group, a division of Penguin Random House, has acquired She Reads Truth, an influential direct-to-consumer publisher focused on building a community of women who together interact with the Bible every day. The acquisition was announced today by Manuel Sansigre, Chief Financial Officer, Penguin Random House, and Campbell Wharton, PRH Christian SVP and Publisher, together with
She Reads Truth Co-founders Raechel Myers and Amanda Bible Williams. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
She Reads Truth will become a new imprint of PRH Christian and join its direct-to-consumer platform, Grace Corner, while retaining its distinct identity and mission. Co-founders Myers and Williams will continue to shepherd the brand’s vision and host the She Reads Truth podcast.
“What started as a simple invitation to read the Bible together has grown into a global community,” said Raechel Myers. “We are deeply grateful for the women who have been part of this journey, and we are excited for this next chapter, one that will allow She Reads Truth to continue creating beautiful, theologically rich resources for years to come.”
“From the beginning, She Reads Truth has been about helping women engage with Scripture in meaningful, accessible ways,” said Amanda Bible Williams. “Joining PRH Christian positions us to expand that mission with greater scale and support, while remaining faithful to the heart of our community.”
“She Reads Truth is a community rooted in daily engagement with God’s Word and strengthened by meaningful connection,” said Campbell Wharton. “The authenticity of their voice and biblical teaching, the beauty of their products, and their passion for Scripture have cultivated extraordinary trust and loyalty among women around the world. We are delighted to welcome She Reads Truth and their vibrant audience to PRH Christian and are committed to stewarding and expanding this inspiring mission.”
“Since establishing our Christian Publishing Group, we have pursued a clear strategy to build on more than 30 years of leadership in this space—growing organically, through thoughtful acquisitions, and through the development of Grace Corner,” said Manuel Sansigre. “She Reads Truth is a natural and powerful extension of that vision, and we are truly excited about all that we can do together to serve and grow this community.”
Founded in 2012, She Reads Truth has grown into a thriving community of women who connect through its website, app, email newsletters, subscription offerings, and social media channels, which feature thoughtfully curated Bible reading plans and devotionals meant to illuminate the inherent beauty, goodness, and truth of God’s Word. Its distinctive aesthetic, mission-driven focus, and strong community have established She Reads Truth as a trusted voice in Christian women’s publishing.
The acquisition reflects PRH Christian’s commitment to expanding its Bible resources across formats and platforms, and to building deeper, direct relationships with readers seeking meaningful engagement with Scripture. As part of Penguin Random House, She Reads Truth will benefit from the global reach and operational excellence of one of the world’s leading publishers, along with PRH Christian’s ongoing commitment to Christian readers, empowering the brand to further serve its devoted community and welcome new readers into it.
Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group was launched in 2024 to expand readership, strengthen connections with audiences, and deepen PRH’s range of books and content offerings for Christian readers. The division is made up of seven distinct imprints—WaterBrook, Multnomah, Image, Forum, Ink & Willow, WaterBrook Children’s, and Align Insight—with an emphasis on helping readers grow in their relationship with God. PRH Christian is a division of Penguin Random House LLC.
