The Man on the Middle Cross Released September 2025

Leyland, England, UK – March 2026. Truth For Life and 10Publishing are pleased to announce that The Man on the Middle Cross by Alistair Begg has now sold more than one million copies in the English language since its release in September 2025.

“The central focus at 10Publishing is seeing winsome, accessible, faithful and affordable evangelistic literature being produced and distributed,” says 10ofthose President, Jonathan Carswell. “This is a prime example of what God can do as these things combine.”

Stories are coming in each week of how God is using the book around the world: from the couple who trusted the Lord and were baptised after reading it, to prison ministries distributing hundreds to those incarcerated.

Since its release 6 months ago, churches, ministries, and individuals around the world have used The Man on the Middle Cross as a simple and compelling evangelistic resource. The book has been distributed through churches, outreach events, and conferences, as well as through major retailers and ministry partners.

Inspired by Alistair Begg’s viral sermon clip, the book retells the stories of three people who encountered Jesus and responded to his invitation of grace. Along with major retail outlets, the book is also available at 10ofthose.com, who provide the bookstore for Revive Our Hearts, The Gospel Coalition, Radical, and Getty Music among many others.

Alistair Begg is the Bible teacher at Truth For Life, a worldwide radio and digital ministry. He served as Senior Pastor at Parkside Church in Cleveland, Ohio, for more than forty years. John Lennox releases inspiring autobiography on the moments and people who shaped his faith

March 9, 2026 by Sheri Toomb

John C. Lennox is widely regarded as one of the greatest Christian apologists of modern times, having devoted a lifetime to showing how faith in God and faith in reason stand logically together. In My Story, he invites readers into his remarkable journey: growing up in Northern Ireland, studying at Oxford and Cambridge, teaching mathematics at the highest level, and boldly defending the Christian faith in lecture halls, debates and the public square for more than sixty years.

From encounters with Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, to the hunger for Bibles in Soviet Russia, and his ongoing belief that rigorous science and profound faith are not enemies but allies, Lennox reflects on the ideas, people and pivotal moments that shaped his life with warmth, wit and disarming honesty. Part memoir, part intellectual adventure, My Story includes photos from Lennox’s personal collection and is a must-read for anyone curious how a brilliant mathematical mind can hold fast to the gospel – and how one man’s faith has helped millions find a reason to believe in an age of doubt.

John Lennox MA MMath MA (Bioethics) PhD DPhil DSc FISSR is Emeritus Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University. He is currently President of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics (OCCA), Distinguished Research Fellow at the Lanier Library and Theological Centre, Yarnton Manor, Oxford, and a senior fellow of the Trinity Forum. He has written a series of books exploring the relationship between science, philosophy and theology.

My Story: A Spiritual & Intellectual Autobiography
By John C. Lennox 9780281091973 | Hardcover | $33.99 | May 19, 2026 | 448 pages

“This book reads more like an adventure story than an autobiography – It is a lifetime’s journey with God in every corner of the world extolling the claims of Jesus Christ.”
—David Cranston FRCS, Emeritus Associate Professor of Surgery University of Oxford

“John Lennox’s autobiography tells the multi-faceted story of a modern apostle and apologist, widely known for his spirited defense of Christian theism, often in public dialogue with high-profile atheists and detractors… ”
—John Hedley Brooke, Emeritus Fellow of Harris Manchester College, Oxford, and Honorary Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion

‘I have decided to write this account, since I would have no story worth telling were it not for the Person who has shaped my life and made it what it is – indeed, the one who is ultimately responsible for my existence, and that is Jesus Christ, the Son of God’
—John C. Lennox

Nelson Books announces the release of Jennie Allen’s new book, THE LIE YOU DON’T KNOW YOU BELIEVE

March 9, 2026 by Sheri Toomb

MARCH 3, 2026 – In her transformative new book, out today, The Lie You Don’t Know You Believe: How to Find It, Fight It, and Live Free, Jennie Allen—New York Times bestselling author and founder of IF:Gathering and Gather25—invites readers to confront the unseen falsehoods shaping their thoughts, relationships, and sense of worth. Blending biblical wisdom, neuroscience, and lived experience, Allen offers a pathway to genuine freedom, helping readers uncover the hidden lies that quietly direct their lives and discover the truth that sets them free.

“In a world overloaded with pressure and distraction, many of us feel an undercurrent of anxiety or dissatisfaction we can’t quite name,” Allen says. “The lie we don’t know we believe is often the most powerful force shaping our lives. Freedom begins the moment we dare to name it.”

Drawing from her own journey with her own core lie and her work discipling millions through IF:Gathering and Gather25 (a vision to mobilize the global Church), Allen identifies three core lies that shape nearly every human story: I am helpless. I am unlovable. I am worthless. Each of these beliefs can subtly infiltrate our identity and relationships, leading to burnout, shame, and disconnection.

Through a blend of spiritual truth and practical strategy, The Lie You Don’t Know You Believe shows readers how to:

  • Spot the three core lies running their lives
  • Trace where those false beliefs took root
  • Replace destructive narratives with lasting truth
  • Build a lifestyle of emotional resilience, mental clarity, and spiritual freedom

More than just another self-help book, Allen’s message connects the sacred and the practical, providing both faith-based insights and practical steps for mental and emotional well-being. Whether she’s speaking in a church, a stadium, or on her podcast, Allen’s voice resonates with anyone who feels stuck, striving, or searching for peace.

“True freedom isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being honest,” Allen says. “Vulnerability is the key to building the deeper connections we all crave.”

IVP announces Hear Women Podcast

March 9, 2026 by Sheri Toomb

March 2026 | LISLE, IL—In celebration of Women’s History Month in March, InterVarsity Press (IVP) announces the launch of the new Hear Women podcast alongside its Read Women initiative. Together these initiatives, with the tagline “Listening to Women for the Good of the Church, Academy, and World,” invite readers and listeners to engage thoughtfully with women’s stories, ideas, and leadership and elevate women’s voices and contributions across faith, scholarship, and culture. The first Hear Women episode releases March 9.

In Hear Women authors and hosts Dorina Lazo Gilmore-Young, Tara Beth Leach, and Nijay Gupta engage in conversations that highlight the many ways that women bring a profound impact to the church, their communities, and the world.

Gilmore-Young said, “This theme is certainly one of my passions. I’m a big fan of both Nijay and Tara’s work so I look forward to entering into these conversations together!” Gilmore-Young is a speaker, teacher, podcaster, and journalist, and the author of several Bible studies and devotionals including Redeemer and Breathing Through Grief.

One of the distinctions about Hear Women is the thoughtful discourse largely led by and featuring the voices of women. Different from most podcasts with a female-only hosting team or a mostly male hosting team, Hear Women will model what it means for men to honor, support, and collaborate with the voices, expertise, and giftings of women.

“I’m incredibly excited about the Hear Women podcast and honored to be a part of such a significant and meaningful project,” said Leach, senior pastor at Good Shepherd Church Naperville, Illinois, and author of Radiant Church, Emboldened, and others. “The vision IVP has laid out—to create a space where women’s voices are central for the edification of the whole church—resonates deeply with me. It’s such a powerful opportunity to model mutuality and bring thoughtful conversations that our church and the world desperately need. The balance of having Nijay involved as a conversation partner is inspiring, and I truly believe this podcast can help shift the narrative around women’s contributions in the church.”

Gupta said, “I echo Tara Beth’s sentiments. This is an exciting endeavor, and I am honored to be invited into it. Back-and-forth conversations will leverage the wisdom of my incredible co-hosts.” Gupta is professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary and author of Tell Her Story, among many others.

Since its founding, IVP has demonstrated a commitment to publishing women whose scholarship, leadership, and lived experience have enriched the church and the academy. “IVP laid the groundwork for its commitment to elevating women’s voices with the publication of its first LifeGuide Bible Study by Jane Hollingsworth in 1943,” said Terumi Echols, publisher and president at IVP. “Nearly eighty years later our commitment remains the same, to ensure that women’s perspectives are not only included but actively centered in conversations shaping faith and the church today.”

Initial guests for the Hear Women podcast include

  • Nicole Massie Martin, the chief operating officer at Christianity Today, founder and executive director of Soulfire International Ministries, and author of Nailing It
  • Heather Matthews, doctor of ministry program manager at Wheaton College Graduate School and author of Confronting Sexism in the Church
  • Jacqulyne Horbrook, CEO of Black Christian Influencers (BCI), the Christian Travel Club, and the BCI Influencer Agency, and the author of How to Be a Christian Influencer
  • Jennifer Powell McNutt, associate professor of theology and history of Christianity at Wheaton College and author of numerous books, including The People’s Book (coauthored with David Lauber
  • Sandra L. Glahn, professor of media arts and worship at Dallas Theological Seminary and author or editor of more than twenty books, including Nobody’s Mother and A Woman’s Place Is in the Story
  • Shawna Songer Gaines, lead pastor at Trevecca Community Church in Nashville, Tennessee, and author of The Pastor as Midwife
  • Lina AbuJamra, physician, Bible teacher, founder of Living With Power Ministries, and author of multiple books, including All Your Life
  • Carmen Joy Imes, associate professor of Old Testament at Biola University and author of numerous books, including Becoming God’s Family and the forthcoming Fierce and Faithful, an IVP Kids title coauthored with Nijay Gupta
  • Tammy Dunahoo, executive dean of Portland Seminary with more than forty years of church and denominational leadership experience
  • Mimi Haddad, president and CEO of CBE International (Christians for Biblical Equality) and a contributor to more than fifteen books including The Participation of Women and Discovering Biblical Equality

The trailer and first episode of Hear Women release on March 9, with twenty-two biweekly episodes releasing through early 2027. The Hear Women podcast will be available through Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other major podcast distributors.

John Eldredge’s “Wild at Heart” marks 25 years of global impact

March 9, 2026 by Sheri Toomb

NASHVILLE, TN – March 9, 2026 – This April, John Eldredge’s bestselling book, Wild at Heart: Discovering the Secret of a Man’s Soul, marks 25 years of transforming lives and shaping conversations about masculinity, faith, and purpose. With over 7 million copies sold and translated into more than 30 languages, Wild at Heart continues to resonate across generations, cultures, and continents. Its enduring relevance is underscored by recent shifts in spiritual engagement, most notably a resurgence in church attendance among men.

For a quarter-century, Wild at Heart has invited men on a journey to rediscover authentic manhood and spiritual adventure. The book’s profound message-that at the heart of every man lies a desire for adventure, battle, and a beauty to rescue-has catalyzed a global movement. This message is evident not only in the book’s sustained sales momentum, with the book and its companion studies selling hundreds of thousands of copies annually, but also in the 2018 rebranding of Ransomed Heart Ministries as Wild at Heart.

The 25th anniversary is especially significant amid sweeping changes in American church life. New research from Barna Group, part of its State of the Church initiative, shows that men now outpace women in regular church attendance, reversing a trend that has persisted for decades. In 2025, Barna found that 43 percent of men and 36 percent of women reported attending church weekly, the largest gap measured in years. Notably, married fathers have emerged as the most consistent churchgoers. This historic development underscores the vital role of resources like Wild at Heart, which speak directly to men’s spiritual curiosity and their pursuit of purpose within community.

This resurgence is part of a broader revival among younger generations. For the first time, Millennials and Gen Z are leading a resurgence in church attendance, reflecting growing spiritual curiosity and a longing for meaningful belonging. These insights affirm the ongoing need for ministries and materials that nurture the hearts of men and young adults seeking a deeper relationship with God.

Reflecting on this important milestone, John Eldredge said, “It has been a privilege to watch Wild at Heart travel the globe over the past 25 years. The hunger for a life that is true and for a strength that is real hasn’t faded; if anything, it has grown. Seeing this message continue to offer freedom and restoration to a new generation is deeply humbling. The human heart still longs for the same things it did twenty-five years ago, and I am honored to walk this path with so many.”

“John’s work, especially and including Wild at Heart, has changed my life in very significant ways. It has been an incredible honor and privilege to walk alongside my client and friend and to witness how God has used this message around the world to deeply impact millions upon millions of men,” shared literary agent Sealy Yates of Yates & Yates.

The impact of Wild at Heart extends far beyond the printed page. The Wild at Heart ministry continues to innovate, meeting the needs of a diverse and evolving audience through books and study guides such as Resilient, Get Your Life Back, and Experience Jesus. Really. The ministry’s digital outreach includes the acclaimed Wild at Heart Podcast, a source of conversation, encouragement, and spiritual training for thousands of listeners, and the One Minute Pause app, which offers practical support for integrating faith into everyday moments to hundreds of thousands of people each week.

Building on its mission of accessibility and growth, HarperChristian Resources will, for the first time, offer immediate streaming video access to the Wild at Heart teaching series on Studygateway.com beginning April 14th, with a code included with each Study Guide purchase.

In 2024, the ministry also debuted Wild at Heart: The Series, a four-part episodic documentary that captures the stories of dramatic transformation among men deeply impacted by the book’s message. These films, available on its YouTube Channel, serve as poignant reminders of the continuing influence of John Eldredge’s vision.

“It’s been a true honor for Nelson Books to work alongside John Eldredge and his dedicated team to bring Wild at Heart to readers around the world,” said Andrew Stoddard, VP and Publisher. “We celebrate this tremendous milestone and look forward to seeing the book, the study guide, and events impact an entirely new generation of men.”

As Wild at Heart celebrates 25 years, its essential message remains as timely and transformational as ever. The anniversary is not only a tribute to extraordinary sales and milestones but, more profoundly, an invitation for new readers and longtime followers alike to rediscover the sacred adventure of a life fully embraced.

John Eldredge is a New York Times bestselling author, counselor, and teacher who has inspired millions to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus. He is also president of Wild at Heart, a ministry devoted to helping people discover the heart of God, recover their own hearts in God’s love, and learn to live in God’s kingdom. John and his wife, Stasi, live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. To learn more, visit www.wildatheart.org.

Nelson Books celebrates author Greta Eskridge’s “It’s Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn” as Outreach Resource of the Year in the Social Issues category

March 9, 2026 by Sheri Toomb

Nashville, TN – March 5, 2026 – Nelson Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Christian Publishing, is celebrating the recognition of Greta Eskridge’s impactful guide, It’s Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn: A Parent’s Guide to Helping Children and Teens Develop Sexual Integrity, as the Outreach Resource of the Year in the Social Issues category. The recognition honors Eskridge’s timely and practical resource, which equips parents and caregivers to have age-appropriate, hope-filled conversations about pornography with children from preschool through high school.

The award arrives at a critical moment for Christian families. Studies show that the average age of first exposure to online pornography is 12, and many children encounter explicit content by accident on devices, social media, and search engines as young as age 8. Against this backdrop, It’s Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn offers parents the biblical grounding, practical scripts, and confidence they need to address one of the most urgent challenges of raising children in the digital age.

“I am so deeply honored and humbled by this recognition,” said Eskridge. “This award reminds me of why I wrote this book—for every parent who picked it up even though it was hard, who leaned into the discomfort for the sake of their children. That courage is what this is really about.”

“It is wonderful to see this award given to a much-needed resource during a time when parents are navigating a constantly changing digital landscape where children can be exposed to harmful content so easily,” said Brigitta Nortker, Associate Publisher. “We know that these conversations can be hard and uncomfortable, but Greta shows why they are essential, how they can bring families closer together, and gives parents the tools they need to have those conversations with confidence.”

Published March 4, 2025, the book is divided into three parts—Why You Need to Talk to Your Kids About Porn, How to Talk to Your Kids About Porn, and The Hardest Questions—and addresses topics ranging from parental controls and media literacy to child exploitation and porn addiction. Grounded in scripture and current research, the book empowers parents to move from fear to confidence as they nurture lifelong sexual integrity in their children.

It’s Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn is available now wherever books are sold.

Greta Eskridge is passionate about creating connection, preserving childhood and chasing adventure. She is host to the popular Greta Eskridge Podcast, and author of Adventuring Together, 100 Days of Adventure, and It’s Time to Talk to Your Kids About Porn. Greta loves to travel the country as a speaker, encouraging families to create connection in a disconnected world. She lives in sunny southern California with her husband of nearly 30 years, Aaron, and their 4 kids — 2 young adults and 2 teens.
