Christian Book Award® winners to be announced tomorrow evening
ECPA will host its annual Awards Celebration tomorrow night during its Leadership Summit for industry leaders in Christian publishing. The Christian Book Award winners will be announced among 72 finalists in 12 categories plus the Christian Book of the Year®. The event will also honor two authors with significant impact and imprint on Christian publishing: Philip Yancey will receive the industry’s Pinnacle Award and Luci Shaw will receive the Kenneth N Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award.
Crossway launches phase 2 of initiative to distribute 1 million Bibles in the Global South
Crossway is pleased to announce the launch of phase 2 of an initiative to distribute one million English Standard Version (ESV) Bibles around the world. The focus of phase 2 is to freely distribute Bibles to children throughout the Global South, especially on the continent of Africa.

ECPA presents free Focus webinar series this summer
ECPA will continue its annual Focus webinar series by presenting three webinars on three Fridays in June, July, and August at 10 am central for its members. Registration is now open for the three summer webinars, talking with experts on topics such as: The Publishers’ Role in the Digital Age (Dr. John Thompson), AI & Ethics (Jason Thacker and Devin Maddox), and a NonProfit Primer for Publishers (Brian Flagler and Jonathan McCants). A fourth webinar is planned for later in the year with Skot Welch on A Christ-Centered Action Plan for Cultural Change. Registration is now open.
Christian bestseller lists for May released on Friday with Easter lists
The ECPA Christian Bestseller lists in 15 categories will be released end of this week for the month of May, reflecting sales reported to Circana through the end of April. The bestselling lists for Easter titles, will also be released. To receive the lists in your inbox each month, sign up at ReadGoodBooks.com. Supadu launches Supadu Smart Buy Button
Supadu is pleased to announce the launch of Supadu Smart Buy Button, with Ingram’s IndiePubs publishers as their first customers. Publishers can add this button to non-eCommerce websites, marketing pages, landing pages and social channels, allowing readers to buy a book instantly from wherever they are.

The recent winner of a gold Illumination Book Award, The Unhiding of Elijah Campbell by Kelly Flanagan has also been honored with a 2023 Nautilus Book Award. Centered around themes of personal growth, spiritual transformation, and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships, "The Unhiding of Elijah Campbell" was awarded the silver medal in the large-publisher fiction category of the Nautilus Book Awards.
