ECPA PubU continues mentor program for Emerging Leaders
ECPA PubU will continue the Emerging Leader scholarship and mentor program, led this year by IVP’s Paloma Lee. The program offers up and coming leaders who are under-represented in the industry the opportunity to attend PubU on scholarship – while participating in a one-on-one mentorship program throughout 2023. ECPA PubU will be held November 16-17 and offer training tracks in Editorial, Marketing, Design, Production & Operations – as well as include a Children’s Book Summit.

ECPA presents second in free webinar series this Friday
ECPA’s free webinar series for its members will continue this Friday, August 19 with: Pursuing Multiethnicity: Recruiting & Retaining Diverse Talent with industry leaders Vicki Harris (Our Daily Bread), Helen Lee (IVP), and KC Frescoln (IVCF). Next week’s final session on August 26 will be hosted by Brian Flagler (Flagler Law Group) on Intellectual Property Piracy: Proactive and Reactive Measures to Protect Yourself with legal experts Austin Padgett (Troutman Sanders) and Ryan June (Castañeda + Heidelman).
The Christy Award® events return to Nashville on Nov. 17
ECPA has announced the in-person program for THE CHRISTY AWARD fall events — held on November 17 at Lipscomb University in Nashville — which include the celebration Gala for the industry’s top award for Christian fiction and an afternoon Art of Writing conference. The Gala will honor the literary contributions of bestselling author JAN KARON (The Mitford Series) and feature award-winning novelists Amanda Cox, Becky Wade, and Chris Fabry.
